Nissan Murano Tops Segment in 2015 J.D. Power APEAL Study
After a undergoing a redesign for the 2015 model year, the Nissan Murano has been raking in the awards. The most recent addition to the popular crossover’s trophy shelf comes from the 2015 J.D. Power APEAL (Automotive, Performance, Execution, and Layout) Study. After earning the top spot in the 2015 J.D. Power APEAL Study Midsize SUV category, the Murano has quickly become one of the best choices for consumers in its segment.
“Given its bold new design, the APEAL Study results showed that exterior and interior styling are by far the leading purchase reasons for Murano buyers,” said Fred Diaz, senior vice president of Sales & Marketing and Operations for Nissan North America.
The Nissan Murano’s redesign offers a sleeker, more refined silhouette and a more comfortable cabin. New features include advanced Zero Gravity seating and a Power Panoramic Moonroof. Along with the Murano, the APEAL Study also recognized the 2015 Altima, which tied for second in the Midsize Car segment and 2015 Frontier, which finished third in the Midsize Pickup segment.
