Ever hear of a Faraday Cage? It’s an 180-year-old invention that uses conductive materials to block any sort of electromagnetic field from penetrating its borders. If this sounds a little sci-fi to you, you’re not wrong; Faraday Cages have been spotlighted in films and shows from Enemy of the State starring Will Smith and Gene Hackman to the long-running TV show Lost. The Cage’s next big role? The Nissan Juke.

When you place your device inside, it successfully blocks all incoming communications, including messages, calls, Bluetooth, and wi-fi. The device can still be connected to the car’s console through a wired connection system inside the Signal Shield. Once removed, the device will be restored to full functionality with absolutely zero damage.
