Nissan and the Heisman Trophy Trust Set to Build a Habitat for Humanity House

The football players who have received the Heisman Trophy are capable of some incredible feats on the field. However, working with Nissan, these athletes are doing some even more incredible things off the field and in the community.

According to a Nissan press release, Nissan and the Heisman Trophy Trust are set to build a Habitat for Humanity House near Nashville.

Among those participants who will help with the construction of the Habitat build are Heisman Trophy winners Tim Brown, Mark Ingram, George Rogers, Billy Sims, and Marcus Mariota.

“While every Habitat home is a blessing, the special relationship with Nissan and the Heisman Trust makes this home build extra special,” said Danny Herron, CEO of the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville. “We take pride in empowering families in realizing the dream of owning their first home, and having the Heisman winners working alongside the many generous volunteers to make this family’s dream come true is an experience we will always remember.”

Nissan and the Heisman Trophy Trust have assembled the best team of players for helping out local communities.
