To make something like this work, one has to have a sustainable plan, and the new all electric Nissan camper van would be a great part of such a plan. Nissan debuted this new model at the Madrid Motor Show in Spain earlier this summer. The e-NV200 Camper is modeled after the all-electric cargo van, but modified for camping and living on the road. While some van dwellers have already chosen the Nissan electric cargo van for their travels, this new model allows them to skip the process of converting it themselves.

The e-NV200 Camper features an elevated roof, a table, a full working kitchen, and bedrooms. Amenities like stationary heating and window shades make if feel like a true, cozy home. It’s perfect for living on the road, whether it be long term or just for a weekend getaway.

For now these all-electric campers are only available overseas, but it’s still exciting to see a brand like Nissan finding ways to bring zero-emission options to niche segments like camper vans. Let’s hope the van makes its way to Haddad Nissan eventually!

Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the Nissan branch that works on developing innovative technologies and designs that are paving the way for better driving in the future, has just come out with a new imaginative project: Nissan Brain-to-Vehicle technology.

Also known as B2V, the new tech is being designed to read and react to signals in the driver’s brain. The goal is to create a faster reaction time and increase comfort. B2V technology can do this in two different ways. First, it will be able to predict. Driver assistive technologies connected to B2V will look for signals from the driver’s brain that indicate an upcoming movement, like a turn, and the autonomous setting will then start the turn on the driver’s behalf.

B2V is also designed to detect, meaning it will look for any brain signals that indicate discomfort. At such a sign, the autonomous system will be able to adjust things like the driving configuration to make the driver more comfortable.

As Nissan Intelligent Mobility works to develop B2V, the company will be looking for more ways in which this feature can be used to enhance the precision, safety, and comfort of each ride. Though at Haddad Nissan we have to wonder how B2V technology will be able to detect anything meaningful in our brains past the overwhelming layer of satisfaction that inevitably comes from driving a Nissan vehicle.
